Traditionally, brigandines were built with dozens of small plates riveted into cloth or leather, creating a protective shell that still allowed movement. This breastplate captures that same balance—its strong leather base supports a visible grid of riveted plates, making its martial character stand out proudly instead of being hidden under fabric.
Brass rivets not only reinforce the structure but also provide striking contrast against the dark leather, enhancing its handcrafted look.
