This Medieval Arming Sword was the classic one-handed weapon used from the 11th to 15th century. Valued for its balance and versatility, it was the trusted sidearm of knights and soldiers in both battles and duels.
The straight, double-edged steel blade gives the look and feel of a real knightly sword, but it is made for collection and display only. At around 1.6 kg, it has a realistic weight, making it perfect for medieval collections, museum-style displays, or reenactment kits.
The fluted steel pommel at the base adds balance and medieval style, while the short crossguard was designed to catch enemy blades. Its compact size also made it practical for fighting in shield walls, before longer crossguards became common.
The sword comes with a black leather-wrapped scabbard, decorated with crisscross tooling, completing its historical look and making it an excellent piece for display.
