Great Helmet of Richard Pembridge Medieval Knightly Helm

129,99

Looking forward to portraying a fearsome medieval knight with this helm donned on top of your reliable armour? Our flat-top great helm has got you covered! The original of this helm belonged to Sir Richard Pembridge. It was created to be worn on top of a Bascinet or Cervelliere, which was common practice for knights during that era. However, our replica has been specifically designed to be worn directly on your head and features interior padding that provides protection from blows and ensures stability.

It is handmade from sturdy mild steel (18 gauge) and is hence, not ideal for real-life combat or reenactments. It is not a functional piece of equipment and makes an excellent choice for collectors, medieval enthusiasts, or your next ren-fair or medieval fair costume. A circumference of about 72cm allows it to fit most. The padded liner adds to its comfort. The closure includes a genuine leather strap and a small brass buckle.
